The aroma of bananas paired with the unique benefits of Kush ensures that you can expect a unique CBD experience with banana notes. The aroma is stronger than classic CBD, because the flowers have been produced in a very special way. We tell you everything you need to know about this product and give you some valuable hints on what kind of flower structure and aroma you can expect from Banana Kush.
Where does Banana Kush come from?
Banana Kush originated in California, where it spread very quickly. It is now one of the 100 most popular strains and is usually made from fermented cannabis seeds. The shorter flowering phase ensures a particularly good yield, with CBD Banana Kush it is the high CBD content that makes the variety so popular.
The CBD cannabis hybrid is the result of crossing Sativa genetics and Afghan Indica. The predominant CBD in Banana Kush is Indica, with a share of about 70 percent. It is brought in by the Skunk Kush heritage, so regarding the origin of this strain, similarities with a Skunk Haze mix can be felt.
Banana Kush – the unique growth
Banana cannabis seeds are, as mentioned above, 70% Indica and therefore show Indica growth patterns. The flower structure, however, is shaped by Sativa genetics. The parents of the plant ensure a strong and vigorous growth, the productive main stem is responsible for a reasonable flower yield.
After harvesting, fat, fruity buds emerge, covered with numerous terpene glands. The aroma of Banana Kush is also partly due to the numerous terpenes, which provide a very special sensation when consumed.
Banana Kush characteristics in a quick check:

Has Banana Kush high values?
Although Banana Kush CBD is produced in Austria with a THC content of less than 0.2 percent, the Skunk Kush effects are clearly resounding. The CBD content is stronger than many other CBD products, as is to be expected from indica strains.
Our Kush buds are not only of optimal quality, but fully meet the demands of Banana Kush. The power of Silver Haze, the aroma of a banana plantation and the strong affinity of Indica strains combine to create a unique experience. Yes, these Kush buds contain high levels of CBD.
The amazing thing is that Banana Kush delivers its power despite its low THC content, giving you a good feeling but at the same time not creating a state of “being high”.
Experienced users are convinced that the indica growth pattern plays a big part in this. Skunk Haze is known for the fact that just a few grams are enough to create an optimal result. Banana Kush is therefore perfect for you if you want to fully enjoy the aroma of Banana Kush and want a product of the highest quality.
How do you tell Haze and Kush apart?
Haze and Kush are the two most frequently mentioned strains when it comes to the best experience. Both Banana Kush and Silver Haze, for example, are top sellers for anyone looking for high yields and the best quality. However, there are differences, not in the quality, but in the type of texture.
The biggest difference is that Haze is sativa-dominant, whereas Kush is indica-dominant. Visually, you can tell Kush and Haze apart quite easily if you have a bit of experience. Kush has wider leaves and a generally stronger structure. It’s easy to grow the indica-dominant strain outdoors, with a slightly prolonged flowering phase. The growth is stocky, especially in height a Banana Kush plant does not grow as much as a Haze plant.
Haze leaves are long and thin, the flowers are lighter, with many hairy pistils growing out of the flower. Kush flowers, on the other hand, are more colourful, with different colour characteristics, from deep green to dark purple.
If you are already familiar with Kush products, your nose can also give you a decisive clue as to whether you are looking at Banana Kush or another Kush variety. The aroma is sweet and sour, whereas Haze flowers smell spicy, earthy and sweet.
What is Banana Haze?
Banana Haze is the counterpart to Banana Kush, it is sativa-heavy and stands out with its ethereal, sweet and tropical note. The buds are compact, yet slightly larger than the traditional Banana Kush.
What is Kush Indica or Sativa?
Kush is basically an indica-dominant strain, with the influence of the sativa plant at around 30%. This explains its strength. Indica strains like Banana Kush originate from the Indian continent, coming from Northern India, Nepal, Afghanistan or Pakistan, while Sativa strains come from Jamaica, Mexico, Southern India and Thailand.
The flowering phase of the two cannabis types differ, indicas basically grow faster as they need to reach a less high growth than sativas. Sativas need a flowering time of about 90 days, whereas indicas are fully grown after a maximum of 60 days. What is striking about indicas is that they can double their vegetative height by up to 100 percent during the flowering phase alone, which is something the grower needs to know in advance.
Those who have previously cultivated sativas may be surprised at first when it comes to growth, because these often grow by 300 percent of their previous size during the flowering period alone.
The classic characteristics of Banana Kush
Indica strains, of which Banana Kush is one, are associated with a relaxing sensation when they ignite. They release physical tension and relieve stress-induced muscle contractions. According to users’ experiences, the aroma is ideally suited for sleep disorders, excessive stress and mental discomfort.
The condition is often referred to as “stoned” in connection with non-legal cannabis and associated with more happiness, self-confidence and courage to face life.
The aroma of Banana Kush CBD is similar to the circumstances described, but without a psychogenic effect. The smell, however, is reminiscent of traditional Banana Kush cannabis. The banana clearly dominates, which is why the product is often referred to as tropical Kush.
