What are CBD crystals?
They are the pure form of CBD, which is available as a powder with maximum purity. CBD crystals have a proven CBD content of 98 – 99 percent, traces of THC cannot be detected accordingly. If you want to buy CBD crystals, you have to be aware that in this powder form of CBD crystals there is a high degree of CBD purity, but no THC is detected.
Some CBD products, such as isolate oils and cosmetics, are made from CBD crystals.
How are CBD crystals produced?
To produce CBD, a hemp plant with a particularly high fibre content is used. All varieties have in common that the THC content is 0.2 percent or less. There are various possibilities for the production of CBD crystals. CO2 extraction has proven to be the most effective method. It is used when CBD crystals of the best quality are to be produced for users. Extraction is also possible with oils or alcohol.
In CO2 extraction, oxygen acts as a solvent because it reduces the reaction temperature of the original form. This is important for CBD crystals, because the cannabidiol must have a temperature of less than 60 degrees for extraction. In this process, the CBD flowers are heated to a temperature just below 60 degrees, the state is called “supercritical”. The CBD is about to dissolve and hovers between the gaseous and liquid state. In this phase, the CBD isolate can be extracted, after the end of the extraction, a white, powder-like substance is left, the raw material for further processing later on.
What are the benefits of CBD crystals?
Experts have long agreed that the cannabinoids of the cannabis plant have considerable potential. This is not only about cannabinoids like THC, but also about CBD, CBG and the terpenes they contain.
Scientifically, the effect of CBD crystals has not yet been conclusively proven, but it already seems clear that the use of hemp goes far beyond the extraction of intoxicants. Millions of people use CBD and the best possible quality and report again and again about positive properties that CBD crystals also bring. These include:
- anti-inflammatory effect possible
- antibacterial effect is suspected
- Relaxing and relieving effect for psychological complaints is conceivable.
- Sleep-inducing effect observed
So far, researchers have already succeeded in proving the effectiveness of CBD in some studies. If you are interested in what experts say, just search independent databases of studies and browse through the results.
CBD crystals vs. CBD oil – what’s the difference?
The biggest difference is in the use, because CBD oils are dripped with a pipette, whereas CBD crystals are in powder form. But there are also differences in the composition. CBD oils do not only contain extracts, but also other active ingredients, such as CBG. If different cannabinoids are combined with each other, an entourage effect occurs, which can increase the effectiveness of cannabidiol.
CBD crystals, on the other hand, consist almost exclusively of pure CBD, the purity is close to 100 percent, the THC content is undetectable. The form is also different. If CBD extracts have been processed into oils, they are filled into small bottles in a liquid, fatty substance. CBD crystals, on the other hand, have a consistency like sugar or salt, are a pure natural product and are suitable for mixing with drinks, among other things.
How are CBD crystals used?
There are several ways to use cannabidiol. As you know, you can buy CBD crystals from us that are also suitable for further processing. There are various ways in which CBD crystals are processed by users. Whether for the production of cosmetic products or for the preparation of oil products, the diversity among users is great. The powder is highly soluble and therefore a perfect base for a wide variety of CBD products.
Mixing CBD crystals
Users who find CBD crystals purely unpleasant like to use various substances to mix with the crystals. In order for them to dissolve, the CBD crystals must be mixed with oil and dissolved. Then they are processed further, for example as CBD extract and oil. CBD crystals are also occasionally dissolved in other liquids.
Processing CBD crystals into oil
The extracts can be processed into numerous cannabidiol products, including CBD oil from isolate. We already offer various CBD oils in different dosages, which are not made from isolate, so you don’t need to mix this form yourself. Users who do it anyway want to use CBD crystals mainly because they can increase the dosage or the active ingredient content of the CBD oil. Most users act according to a rule of thumb: To produce a 10-percent CBD oil, CBD crystals 1000mg must be dissolved in 10 ml carrier oil.
Vaporising CBD crystals
Some users like to process the extract from the hemp plant into liquids. The CBD crystals can then be vaporised. Users say that this method of making liquids has a special effect.
Processing CBD crystals into cosmetic products
Cannabidiol can be used in various cosmetic products. The valuable terpenes have a soothing effect on the skin and can therefore be used for daily care. For example, a high-quality coconut oil or shea butter is suitable for the production. The CBD crystals have to be dissolved in the carrier oil, the amount is individual, depending on the wishes.
Are CBD crystals legal?
You can buy CBD crystals from us and since we only offer legal products made from hemp, the question is already answered. Yes, CBD crystals are perfectly legal, just like all the other CBD products you can order right away. But why is typical cannabis banned, but CBD is allowed? The reason is the THC! CBD products like oils or classic flowers contain a maximum of 0.2 percent THC.
CBD crystals, on the other hand, have no detectable THC content at all and can therefore also be purchased and processed by you completely legally.
How much CBD crystals to use?
CBD products can be used individually, the amount of flowers is a matter of personal taste. The unfolding of cannabinoids occurs quickly, especially if the product is of good quality. Also for CBD crystals, no exact specification can be made, because depending on what you make out of it, you need a different dosage. For the production of high-quality isolate oil products in maximum quality, the above-mentioned rule of thumb applies:
1 gram of CBD crystals -> 10 ml of carrier oil = an oil product with a CBD content of 10%.
If you want to make ointments and creams, for example, find the perfect CBD recipe and apply the CBD crystals according to the recipe. Especially with creams, the dosage of cannabidiol is different, because you always use only a small portion of CBD in a single application.
Are CBD crystals worth it for me?
Whether CBD crystals are worthwhile for you or not depends on your possibilities of use. The fact is that even a small amount of CBD crystals has as much content as a larger amount of isolate oil products. After all, you get almost 100 percent purity.
If you want to try CBD first, there are other dosage forms that may be more suitable. If you already have experience with CBD and want to make your own CBD products, you can use CBD crystals and benefit from their high CBD content. Even a small amount of powder is enough to create the basis for individual hemp products.
Here you can buy CBD crystals and see for yourself if the sugar-like crystals are suitable for you. There are many other CBD forms available if you don’t want to make your own liquids, creams or other CBD products. There is a suitable solution for every taste, CBD crystals are especially suitable for experienced users, as they are a valuable raw material for further processing.
Buy CBD Isolate
In our shop you will not only find CBD in the form of oils or flowers, but you can also get CBD isolate with maximum purity. The special feature of CBD isolate is that it is a high quality product that is produced from hemp or under laboratory conditions.
What is CBD isolate?
CBD isolate is the term used to describe pure cannabidiol, or more precisely, it is the isolated form of CBD. There are two basic ways of producing it, once by extracting it from the useful hemp plant, but also by producing it directly in the laboratory. Isolates of CBD are used in the production of
CBD isolates vs. full spectrum CBD – what is the difference?
The biggest difference between full-spectrum CBD and isolates is in the production process. In a full spectrum extract, the basic chemical profile of the cannabis plant remains the same. Cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes, on the other hand, are filtered out in CBD isolates.
There are individual advantages and disadvantages of each CBD product; the planned application is also decisive.
Extracting the CBD isolate: This is how the process works
- The first step in obtaining CBD isolate is extraction. In order to obtain a concentrate, it must first be prepared. Hydrocarbon solvents such as CO2 are usually used for this, and a centrifuge is then used for maximum effect.
- The second step is the so-called winterisation of the isolates. Waxes, fats and chlorophyll are removed from the extract so that maximum purity can be guaranteed. By cooling down to 0 degrees Celsius, lipids automatically dissolve and can be extracted.
- In the third step, the producer has to filter his product, which is done by a vacuum pump. What remains is the so-called miscella.
- The fourth step is called decarboxylation and serves to ensure a maximum CBD content of the isolates. CO2 and carboxylic acid are removed from the cannabidiol and then distillation takes place.
- In the fifth step, which is not mandatory, the manufacturer can now change the structure of the isolates to produce a powder. To do this, the CBD oils are heated and constantly stirred. By slowly lowering the temperature and continuing to mix continuously, the crystals separate from the actual solution. They then need to be purified with a chemical solvent to ensure the best quality CBD isolate.
How to use CBD isolate?
There is virtually no wrong way to use CBD crystals, or isolates, and there are several ways to get the most out of the ingredients for your own benefits. These include:
- Dissolving in an oil that serves as a carrier oil (CBD oils production).
- Application in liquids (dissolving crystals)
- For the production of CBD cosmetics
If the CBD isolates are to be used as an additive, they must first be dissolved in an oil so that the ingredients are available.
Are CBD crystals legal?
Many fans of isolate ask themselves whether CBD crystals can be used legally. After all, the cannabidiol content is significantly higher here and therefore a stronger dosage is possible.
Basically, as long as CBD crystals are obtained from hemp plants that meet EU standards, legal purchase is possible.
To put it simply: You can legally buy your CBD crystals in our shop and use them according to your needs. We focus on transparency and ensure that all our products, including CBD crystals, always comply with all EU regulations.
How much CBD crystals are used?
You buy your CBD Isolate from us in grams, you can buy packs with more content or smaller quantities. The effect is stronger than with a classic CBD oil, as you get the purest form of CBD available on the market. For example, if you want to make your own cosmetic compounds, you may need larger amounts of CBD isolate.
The application is not classically in a predefined amount, as CBD isolate is very often further processed. The amount of CBD powder you need and add depends on your recipe and the desired effect.
Does CBD Isolate also contain THC?
In general, CBD is said to have a wide range of properties, all of which are said to have a positive effect on the human body. CBD isolate is nothing other than classic CBD, but the amount of THC is zero.
This is because all substances that cannot be used to obtain a pure CBD product are filtered out during the extraction process. This also includes THC, which is otherwise allowed to be present in hemp plants for the production of CBD products below the threshold value of 0.2 percent.
How much THC a hemp plant contains can already be influenced during cultivation. There are plants that focus primarily on THC, while others are known primarily for the quality and quantity of CBD.
CBD Isolate pros and cons – when is it worth it and when is it not?
Whether you should buy a CBD isolate depends on various factors. CBD isolates are pure and contain no THC, which is welcomed by many users. Especially when there is uncertainty about the legality, CBD isolates are a good option.
In addition, CBD isolates are often cheaper than flowers, which is not due to the complexity of production, but to the high CBD content.
When you dose CBD oils, you often use up to five drops. A CBD isolate can be dosed much more sparingly, with the same or even increased effect. CBD crystals are therefore preferred by sparing users.
The disadvantage of a CBD isolate is that you cannot use the valuable additional components of the hemp plant. The crystals are free of terpenes and other cannabinoids and do not contain any other phytochemical components. You need to be aware of this before you buy CBD isolate.
Tip: You can use CBD Isolate and other CBD products in parallel. The powder is then used for the production of cosmetics or as an additive for CBD oil.
