CBD Paste – the high-dose cannabidiol.
CBD oil has been the most commonly used form of cannabidiol to date, however CBD pastes are now increasingly gaining acceptance. These are hemp extract in paste form, significantly higher in dosage than typical CBD oils. Our product, for example, has a CBD content of around 55%. CBD paste is used similarly to CBD oil, but has a much stronger effect.
What is CBD paste and who is it suitable for?
CBD paste is especially suitable for you if you need a high dose of cannabinoids. The effect of classic CBD oil has already worn off for you? Even a high amount of 25% CBD oil doesn’t help you anymore? Then CBD paste might be suitable for you.
Full spectrum CBD is used as a basis, which is obtained from organic hemp. It relies on the gentle CO2 extraction method to achieve the high concentration. Coconut oil is used as a carrier base, which does not change the properties of the CBD paste. Coconut oil is generally considered a valuable component of healthy nutrition, making it ideal for making CBD paste.
How do CBD pastes work?
In general, the use of CBD paste is equivalent to that of CBD oil. The experience of users shows that the same effect can be expected. The only difference here is that the CBD paste is significantly higher dosed. The most commonly mentioned areas of use for CBD in general include:
- Anxiety and depression
- Pain and chronic inflammation
- Difficulty falling asleep
- Animal ailments
- Skin conditions and allergy symptoms
- Chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis
CBD paste is particularly suitable when severe symptoms are present. In research, commercial hemp is currently being actively studied. The hemp plant is of great interest, especially in natural medicine.
Full-spectrum CBD contains cannabidiol as well as other plant active ingredients such as flavonoids and terpenes. This results in the entourage effect, which makes an enhanced effect possible.
Is CBD paste legal and can it be used?
We only provide products for sale here that are legal to use in the EU. Since the ingredients of CBD Paste do not cause intoxication and the THC content is below 0.2%, the product is legal.
Even though CBD paste is often used to increase well-being, it has no psychoactive effect. A state of relaxation may occur due to cannabinoids like CBD, but the mind remains clear. It is not expected to affect the ability to react, and in addition, the WHO has classified CBD as a non-hazardous product.
Can CBD paste have side effects?
The content of CBD paste is hardly different from CBD oil. Consequently, the side effects mentioned are identical to those that CBD oils can also have. What often matters is the method of application. Overdoses lead to side effects more quickly, so CBD paste is unsuitable for beginners.
It is also important that the quality of the CBD paste is high. Low-quality products can lead to the application being associated with unpleasant side effects. We always rely on organic hemp and make sure that the extract is obtained from certified commercial hemp cultivation.
Important to know: Since CBD paste has a high concentration, special caution is required when dosing. Side effects can occur more quickly! People without CBD experience should avoid using it. It is also important to keep CBD paste out of the reach of children.
Possible side effects of CBD paste in check:
- Dry mucous membranes
- Loss of appetite
- Lowering of blood pressure
How is CBD paste used and how does it work?
CBD paste can either be used in a very classic way or applied to the skin. The way of application is similar to classic CBD oil. After about 20 to 40 minutes, it comes to the onset of action.
The bioavailability ranges from 20% up to 35% depending on the application.
Since people with skin diseases can also benefit from the active ingredients, CBD paste is also suitable for topical application. Applied to the skin, the effect unfolds after about one hour and lasts up to six hours. Bioavailability is approximately 10%.
Full spectrum CBD oil or CBD paste – which is better?
CBD pastes only differ from high-quality CBD oil in two respects. One is the consistency and the other is the CBD content. It is significantly higher in a CBD paste. Both dosage forms are available as full-spectrum CBD and can trigger the entourage effect through terpenes and flavonoids.
Which suits you better depends on your needs. CBD paste is suitable if you have severe symptoms and full-spectrum CBD oil does not help (anymore) sufficiently. If you need high doses, a CBD paste is the better solution for you. The CBD content of 55% is significantly higher than a classic CBD oil. Consequently, you only need a reduced dose and can save money.
CBD paste can also be a better option for animal use. Here, CBD products are used for different purposes. Large dogs and horses require higher doses, so CBD paste is often the better choice.
How do I find a good full-spectrum CBD paste for me?
In general, you need to look for maximum purity in CBD products. Therefore, don’t just buy “anywhere”, but from a certified online store like ours. We make sure that only legal and suitable products are made available to you. The quality of the hemp plant should not be underestimated. Errors can also occur during the extraction process. We prefer the gentle CO2 extraction to avoid contaminating the ingredients with solvents.
As with all our CBD products, the hemp plants for the CBD paste come from Austria. There, they are grown under sustainable aspects and have a THC content of less than 0.2% according to legal regulations.
